Improve Your Smile with Cosmetic Dental Procedures

Bonding & Contouring

Helping Repair Chipped, Gapped, and Worn Teeth

Bonding and contouring help patients that would like a new look for their smile but are not comfortable with more invasive procedures like veneers. Patients that have worn and chipped teeth request bonding to reshape or colorize their teeth. These services are designed to conservatively change a tooth’s size, shape, texture, and contour. We can perform bonding and contouring together or separately, depending on a patient’s unique needs.

What is Bonding?

Similar to bonding, contouring is designed to provide improvement to a smile with minimal changes to a tooth’s structure. Contouring does not require any numbing and only reshapes the outer layer of the tooth. Several teeth can be done in one visit, and many people choose to do whitening, then contouring to see if they like that improvement of their smile before moving onto veneers. During the service, the dentist will carefully sculpt a small amount of tooth enamel to address dental issues such as overlapping teeth, jagged edges, minor chips, and pointy teeth.

What is Contouring?

Bonding is the latest approach to resin-based dentistry. A dental will use tooth-colored composite resin with adhesive materials to change the shape and color of someone’s teeth to either match the other color of the teeth or improve the shape. The dentist then hardens and polishes the resin for a lifelike and durable finish. Bonding is often suggested for dental issues such as chipped, gapped, or pitted teeth, and tooth discoloration that doesn’t respond to a regular teeth-whitening treatment.

Dental Bridges and Crowns

A missing tooth can affect your bite and prevent you from smiling; we can restore the function and appearance of your teeth. By using tooth colored ceramics. Dental bridges can replace one missing tooth or several, and rely on your existing, healthy teeth to support them.

Teeth that have large failed fillings or cavities in them can be improved with crowns. Our crowns are custom fit to every patients natural tooth shape and color. For patients that want a new smile we are able to change the shape and color of all their teeth to exactly what they desire.
